Eating Right and Exercising to Stay Healthy
Different people have different ways to stay healthy. Some people like jogging, push-ups or cycling because these exercises are good for increasing your stamina. Other people like to stay healthy by eating protein shakes, fruits like banana or apple, and carrot. In order to stay healthy and enjoy my life, I like to exercise and eat right.
For example, I like to play football/soccer, swimming and sit-ups. The reason I like to play football is because it is actually my hobby since I was a kid. My dad always watched football matches and bought me football shirts. I like to swim because I believe it can recover my lungs from the pollution. To be honest, I don’t have an exact reason why I like to do sit-ups, it’s just a habit that I’ve built since I was a kid.
In terms of eating healthy foods, I like to eat bananas, eggs and spinach at least once a week. When I choose healthy foods to eat, they must meet the following criteria. First, does the food contain the nutrients my body needs, and second, does the food feel good in my mouth.
I also think it is also important not to eat too much junk food. For example, I don’t think people should eat too much fried chicken like KFC, burgers from McDonald’s or French fries. I have a lot of reasons why junk food is dangerous and you should not eat it regularly. But in this article, I will give only 3 reasons, otherwise my article will be full just explaining this thing. Firstly, in the long term, junk foods can give you several heart problems like cholesterol. Secondly, it can also give you diabetes. And lastly it can give you cancer, which is very dangerous.
In conclusion, actually it is okay to eat junk food once or twice in a month, but during this era, a lot of people eat it almost everyday and it can be very dangerous to our body. When we are getting old, our physical power gets weak, but we can give the future ourselves a healthy body and live by exercising and start eating healthy food. And most importantly, we have to avoid eating something that is delicious, but causes problems to our body.
